Who We Are

Our story

A vocation for justice and the law was instilled by Don Miguel Aylwin Gajardo, a distinguished judge who served as President of the Supreme Court of Justice between 1957 and 1960. His legal rigor and commitment to truth defined his career and left a profound legacy on his descendants.

1974

In 1974, his sons Patricio, Andrés, and Tomás Aylwin Azócar, following distinguished careers in public service, returned to private practice and established the historic office at “Huérfanos con Teatinos” in downtown Santiago.

1978

By the late 1970s, the firm had brought together a number of professionals and began incorporating the firsts of don Miguel Aylwin’s grandchildren.

1990

This office, made up solely of this new generation, became consolidated with the creation of Aylwin Abogados in the 1990s, relocating in 1999 to offices on Isidora Goyenechea in Las Condes.

2015

As of 2015, inspired by their family legacy and with the aim of providing comprehensive and precise legal services focused on personalized client attention, brothers Tomás and Jorge Aylwin Bustillos founded Aylwin y Asociados Abogados.

2024

Beginning in 2024, a new chapter commenced at our offices on Av. Kennedy, Vitacura, marked by the incorporation of new generations of lawyers committed to upholding the spirit and legacy of don Miguel Aylwin Gajardo’s legal knowledge, from a modern and client-focused perspective.
