Lorena has practiced law primarily in the areas of civil, corporate, commercial, labor, and real estate law, providing comprehensive legal counsel to individuals and corporations, both domestic and foreign, as well as non-profit organizations, in negotiations, corporate restructurings, prevention of legal contingencies, reports, and the drafting and implementation of labor documentation and all types of contracts. She has extensive experience advising on estates and inheritances, as well as corporate matters, including property divisions and inheritances, business reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and project development and financing. This consultative work has been particularly focused on companies in the retail, telecommunications, water and sanitation, construction, real estate, and agrochemical sectors. Paula has extensive experience in the construction, infrastructure, and public works concessions sectors, having worked in the private, trade association, and public sectors on corporate, administrative, and contractual matters. She is an arbitrator at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CAM Santiago), participating in the resolution of disputes related to construction, infrastructure, and energy projects. Since 2020, she has been a member of the Technical Panel for Public Works Concessions (2020–2026 term), specializing in resolving technical and economic discrepancies in public works concession contracts. In addition, she has developed a recognized practice in disability rights and social inclusion, advising individuals and non-profit organizations, and actively participating in civil society and governmental initiatives. She is a frequent panelist at national and international conferences on inclusion, the exercise of rights, and access to justice. Since March 2018, she has been a partner at Aylwin Asociados Abogados, where she combines her experience in infrastructure and concessions with her commitment to defending human rights and social inclusion.
